What is Rockwool Ablative Coated Batt 50mm?
Rockwool Ablative Coated Batt 50mm is produced from mineral wool. Like all Rockwool products, it is made from renewable materials. It protects against air leakage while delivering acoustic and fire performance. In the case of a fire, the ablative coatings release water vapour to cool the surface while the wool slab prevents fire, heat, and smoke from moving through your building
A single 50mm batt provides up to two hours of fire resistance. If more time is needed, tests recommend the 60mm Ablative Coated Batt of four hours of resistance.
Features and benefits of Rockwool Ablative Coated Batt 50mm:
- Ease to install “ it can be easily cut to size and shape.
