A great all-rounder is the Karma Soundlay acoustic flooring insulation, which can be used on concrete and timber floors, or as an underlay under carpet, laminate or vinyl flooring (providing necessary preparation is carried out).
If you require greater levels of soundproofing, opt for the high-performance Karma Soundlay Plus range.
The Karma Acoustic MassPanel is suitable for use on timber floors or can be laid directly onto joists, making it a great choice for refurbishment projects. We also stock Karma Acoustic Joist Hoods for timber floors.
Also available for timber floors is the Karma Acoustic Overlay, made from chipboard laminated to a 5mm closed-cell polyethylene resilient layer for maximum sound absorption. If you’d like to improve the fire resistance of your timber floor, opt for the Karma TNF 70 Slab System. These high-density stone fibre batt slabs feature smoke and fire-resistant sealant.
The Karma Visco 17, with its slim construction, is suitable for use on concrete flooring and won’t dramatically reduce the height of your room. For other flooring types, opt for the Regupol 4515, an effective acoustic underlay for use under ceramic tiles, sheet vinyl, vinyl tiles, wood laminates and carpet.
