Fermacell is a high performance multi-purpose building board, that when installed combines the properties of solid blockwork with the speed and flexibility of conventional drywall techniques.

Many dry lining projects require more than one type of building board to be used in their construction. Hotel bathrooms, for example, often require moisture resistance, acoustic insulation and fire protection.

Fermacell offers a single solution to this problem. The unique nature of the board offers a drylining solution that combines high levels of fire resistance, acoustic insulation and impact strength with inherent moisture resistance and exceptional screw holding ability.

Fermacell is different to standard building boards in that it is produced by combining raw gypsum, cellulose fibres (derived from recycled paper) and water. These materials are combined, to form a homogenous mass, which is then formed into a dense sheet material.

Floors & Ceilings
As well as for standard wall applications - Fermacell boards can be used on flooring and ceiling projects.
