Application

An acrylic sealant for use in filling gaps up to 15mm in width in fire walls with a fire rating up to 4 hours or in gaps where an acoustic performance is required

Description

Exton EX240 Fire & Acoustic Sealant is supplied in 310ml tubes and is applied using a sealant gun. It consists of medium viscosity paste containing acrylic emulsion, inert fillers and fungicide.

• Specifications
  EX240 Intumescent Fire Retardant Acrylic Sealant has been tested to BS476 Part 20/1987 (ISO 834) and achieved a 4 hour fire rating.

  EX240 is specifcially designed for internal perimeter pointing of fire rated doors, windows and linear gap joints where the integrity of a firewall needs to be maintained. Swells under heat conditions, giving a fire and smoke resistant seal.
